(Top row: red velvet with cream cheese buttercream, sprinkled with coconut, gingerbread with a lemon glaze, sprinkled with raw sugar, pumpkin with spiced cream cheese topped with a candied pecan, dark chocolate with chocolate buttercream and chocolate sprinkles. Middle row: vanilla with raspberry whipped cream, red velvet, dark chocolate with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream, pumpkin. Bottom row: vanilla with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with raspberry whipped cream, dark chocolate, and gingerbread.)I made just under 300 cupcakes on Friday to try and sell at a Christmas bazaar on Saturday. I hardly sold any, but my friends, family and neighbors received their holiday gift early, as I packaged the leftovers up for delivery. I think I'm retiring my cupcake apron for now, and will just stick to making treats for friends on a small scale. Three hundred was just too many. If you'd like a recipe (I've tested dozens, so have really found some great ones) let me know and I'll publish it for you.

Sorry it didn't work out (at least this time). They look amazing- almost too good to eat. I'd love the recipe for the gingerbread one w/ lemon glaze. also, what exactly is red velvet?
Amy, those look fantastic!!
Those looks so great!
Those look so tasty!!!
Amy we loved them all! I would love all the recipes! You are an amazing woman...I don't know anyone else who has single-handedly cranked out 300 cupcakes in one afternoon!
I would happily accept any recipes you choose to share.
See you tonight!
Unbelievable! I can't imagine making so many beautiful cupcakes. What a beautiful picture too. Makes me think of Sprinkles Cupcakes Stores. I'd love to go to one some day...
I hope your neighbors appreciated your huge effort!
YUM........post some recipes..... please!!!
Wow, those look SO good!
I'm surprised you didn't sell every single one. Maybe catering would work better, because you would only have to make as many as people order.
Good job putting yourself out there Amy. They look absolutely scrumptious. Hope it goes better next round. I would love all the recipes.
I just had some chocolate cake and these still make my mouth water just thinking about them. gingerbread and pumpkin. And the frosting recipes too!!!!
oh my goodness! oh my goodness! oh my goodness! Can you say cupcake cravings? Those pics are killing me!
They look fantastic. I would be really interested in the recipes too. I agree with the idea of taking orders - maybe you could have a cupcake blog :0)
