Miss me much?
About a month ago, what seems like years ago, I came home from a visit with my brother to a computer that wouldn't turn on. I had suspected that something was wonky all during the week, and it was soon confirmed that I had contracted a virus (my father called it mal-wear, because it was designed to be malicious) that left my hard drive to rot and lost EVERYTHING stored on my computer.
Dear computer virus designer: I'm so sorry your life is so boring and awful that you need to create things to hurt others, but I'm a really nice person and certainly didn't deserve to be the target of your angst. Sincerely: Mama Nirvana.
My poor father had to buy me a new hard drive and re-load everything back on to my newly acquired fancy computer (I had only had it for about two months before the crash). I have been instructed to shut down my computer when not in use and really to be cautious of the places I visit. I also have installed some pretty heavy-duty anti-virus software. I'm really paranoid this could happen again.
This past month has been really crazy and quite lonely without my main mode of communication with the world. I was actually forced to use the phone on occasion, which caused me to develop an itchy rash and convulse on occasion.
This past month Mike has worked nearly 100 hours a week at his day job and his evening/weekend job, taking advantage of the warm summer to paint some houses, and I started a job mentoring a teen age girl about 10 hours a week.
This past month Sam has managed to still not learn to walk, and Charlie has managed to still not learn how to poop in the toilet.
This past month my sister and girls came and went. It was the most amazing time, but my heart broke in two when they finally headed home.
This past month I've noticed about 50 gray hairs on the front of my head.
This past month we cancelled our family vacation so Mike could paint another house.
This past month I've watched a lot more TV than I usually do and actually started a HAND WRITTEN journal. I guess my need to write things down is pretty intense.
This past month I've had a lot of sleepless nights and early mornings.
I've missed you, my friends, and am still trying to catch up on all of your blogs. Many posts ahead with pictures from the last month.

So, so, so glad your back!
SO glad you're back!!!!
I am so happy to have you back!
Yay! I wondered where you had gone...
I had just about given up hope that you were coming back. So you did cancel your family vacation? We flew in and out of Oregon barely taking a breathe.
I'm glad you itch to write because I miss it when you disappear.
Every time we have a computer problem my family drops another hint that it is time to get a Mac.
I miss you...glad your back!
I, like so many others, was really beginning to wonder just 'where' you were. Welcome back!!

I understand the paranoid state a crashed computer will bring one to...I'm still a bit paranoid each time I open my laptop...and hold my breath until it warms up.
I missed you much.
Wow, what a month! What a bummer that you don't get to go on vacation...Maybe you and Mike will get to go somewhere off by yourselves when he's done painting?
welcome back!
