"Never let a problem to be solved, become more important than a person to be loved."

I am so excited for the upcoming year. It almost seems like there are endless possibilities in front of me, and I am open to all good things that could come into my life. This year, I have decided to choose a motto to live by. The above quote is my motto, and I will try to be mindful of it always, when I am parenting my children, building a relationship with my spouse, hanging out with friends, working on the PTO, fulfilling my church callings (jobs), doing my grocery shopping, etc.
I want to be more forgiving, more patient, more kind, more loving. I want to be more of a servant and less of a complainer. I want to spend the year laughing, playing, listening, and serving. I am filled with gratitude for the life that I have been given. I am grateful for my healthy body, my healthy children, and healthy marriage. I am grateful for the difficulties and challenges in my life, because I am learning to choose the better part. Because of this, I can be taught the things that I need to be taught.
Happy Birthday, to me.

Happy Birthday!!!
What a good motto and all good things we probably all could improve on...thanks for being the example. Hope your day was special.
Love your motto! I love your "step it up" attitude. You are blessed.
This is such a great idea Amy. I haven't thought to have a personal motto but I think it's fantastic. You picked a perfect one. Really, if we all acted as that quote I think we'd all feel really fulfilled in our lives and content we're doing our best.
